ThermaSeal/Lakeside Insulation, part of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family, seeks an insulation installer in Champaign, IL. The role involves loading materials, cutting insulation, setting up ladders, and installing insulation in various spaces.
We offer full-time hours, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and room to advance within a supportive team. You’ll work a hands-on schedule with safety procedures, a small foreman-led crew, and opportunities to grow.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation.
- Construction or installation experience is a plus (we will train the right person).
- Comfortable using hand tools.
- Able to work in tight spaces and at heights.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Bilingual is a plus, not required.
- Driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report required if job duties include operating a company vehicle.
- Some assignments require a valid driver’s license.
- A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving the transportation of equipment or travel between sites.

What Your Day Looks Like
You’ll start early, either meeting at the shop or heading directly to the jobsite.
After loading materials and completing a quick safety check, the crew gets to work. You’ll install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
You’ll be working in a variety of conditions, depending on the job site and season, with safety procedures and proper equipment in place. You’ll work until the job is done and then head home.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Team members look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right.
If you show up on time, follow safety guidelines, and are willing to learn, you’ll feel supported and welcomed.
