Job summary

ThermaSeal/Lakeside Insulation is hiring spray foam installers in Illinois. The role involves applying spray foam (open and closed cell) per specs, operating equipment safely, following blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe site. statewide travel is required.

No experience is required; training is provided. Start pay ranges from $18/hour without a license to $25/hour with a valid license, with increases after 60 days and potential piece rates for batt installers.

• Ability to lift and handle materials and equipment
• Willingness to travel statewide

• Start at $25/hr with a valid driver’s license
• (First 60 days – then pay increases)
• Piece rate available for batt installers after training
• Other roles (foam, blow truck, etc.) receive a $1 raise after 60 days
• Previous insulation experience? You’ll hit the ground running
• Must be comfortable working in tight, hot/cold environments
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation preferred

Note: Former IBP employees within the past 5 years are not eligible for bonuses.

Physical Demands:

This role involves continuous physical activity on construction sites and requires the ability to perform tasks while standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing for prolonged periods. The technician must be capable of lifting and handling materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Spray application work may take place at various heights, requiring comfort with scaffolding, ladders, or lifts. Exposure to outdoor conditions is common, including heat, dust, and noise. Precision and control are required while operating spray equipment, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift is essential for safety and compliance.
