Job summary

Builders Installed Products of New Hampshire is seeking installers to fit insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawl spaces. You will start early with a small crew, loading materials, setting ladders, and performing precise cuts to ensure weather-tight installations.

We provide training, safety gear, and strong team support. The role offers growth opportunities within a recognized IBP family company and a pathway from training to higher responsibility as you prove your skills.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Comfortable using hand tools and climbing/kneeling in tight spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights is expected.
• Valid driver's license is required for vehicle tasks; some roles need DMV checks.
• Construction or installation experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and track materials on trucks.
• Set up ladders or scaffolding.
• Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Staple, glue, nail, wire, or run equipment for insulation types.
• Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean.
• Follow all job site safety procedures.
• Install caulking products to seal air leaks.

Job Overview

Full-time | Steady work | Room to move up

• Earn $20-$25/hour During Training!
• Non-DOT: Starting at $20/hour
• DOT Certified (or able to obtain DOT): Starting at $25/hour
• Transition to piece-rate pay after 90 days, offering increased earning potential based on performance.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll start early, either meeting at the shop or heading directly to the jobsite. After loading materials and completing a quick safety check, the crew gets to work. You’ll install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.

You’ll be working in a variety of conditions, depending on the job site and season, with safety procedures and proper equipment in place. You’ll work until the job is done and then head home.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Team members look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right.

If you show up on time, follow safety guidelines, and are willing to learn, you’ll feel supported and welcomed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Load and track materials on trucks
• Set up ladders or scaffolding
• Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces
• Staple, glue, nail, wire, or run equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation
• Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean
• Follow all job site safety procedures
• Install latex and other caulking products to prevent air filtration

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable transportation
• Construction or installation experience is a plus (we will train the right person)
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Able to work in tight spaces and at heights
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Bilingual is a plus, not required
• Driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report required if job duties include operating a company vehicle
• Some assignments require a valid driver’s license
• A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving the transportation of equipment or travel between sites

The Physical Side (So You Know What to Expect)

This is active, hands‑on work. You’ll be moving, lifting, climbing and working in a variety of conditions, including heat, cold, or dusty environments.
