Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM, is seeking an Installation Service Coordinator to join our Carson City, NV team. You will work with Installation and Service Technicians, vendors, and staff to coordinate schedules and meet customer timelines with exceptional service.

Responsibilities include status reporting, parts coordination, and maintaining service records. OSHA 10 certification is required and a High School Diploma or GED is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Installation and Service Technicians and vendors to maximize completions, minimize days out, and meet customers’ schedules.
• Report on the status of service to sales department and managers, including daily notes entry.
• Coordinate with shop manager and shipping coordinator for paperwork and delivery of materials for next day services.
• Maintain database on service requests.
• Maintain past due service part orders and invoice materials as needed.
• Coordinate with Buyers for ordering of parts.
• Arrange for outside service contractors as necessary to maintain reasonable completion levels.
• Train another associate to backup during vacations and illnesses.
• Submit, track and reconcile reimbursements from vendors for parts and labor on warrantable repairs.
• Invoice and bill for billable service; assist Credit as needed to collect.
• Create and update a procedure manual for the department.
