Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, instructions, and other documentation to plan work activities.
• Determines required insulation materials based on heat retention, location, and equipment.
• Moves materials and sets up the work site.
• Covers or seals insulation with protective coverings and sealants.
• Measures and cuts insulation using tape measures and cutting tools.
• Prepares surfaces for insulation application and attaches protective coverings.
• Follows hazardous waste handling guidelines and safety rules.
• Completes records and maintains tools and equipment.
• Performs cleanup and other duties as required.
