Job summary

The Brock Group is seeking a Craft Lead in Geismar, LA to oversee a single crew, directing work and ensuring Brock's safety culture on site. You will lead by example, plan tasks, and coordinate with supervisors to meet contract specifications.

This role requires 3+ years of craft experience (or 2 years plus 1 year supervisory) and the ability to travel as needed. You must pass orientation and the Fit For Duty program and maintain safe, efficient operations on construction sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of craft experience, or 2 years craft plus 1 year supervisory experience.
• Must complete Brock’s Fit For Duty program and orientation.
• Ability to travel as required and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a single crew and direct work following Brock’s safety culture.
• Perform pre-job safety planning and enforce safety rules.
• Conduct toolbox and crew meetings and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Ensure correct loading/unloading of materials and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper use of tools and safety practices.
• Plan installation and construction of equipment and structures.
