Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a dedicated assembler to join its manufacturing team. You will read instructions, gather materials, measure parts, and assemble components to exact specifications.

The role requires at least one year of manufacturing experience, basic math, and ability to stand for long periods. Shifts include day and night; overtime may be required.

Position Type, Schedule and Travel
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30 pm or 3:30-12:00 am.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (sometimes more, depending on the job) – repeats 6-7 times per 8-hour shift.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hours) and frequent walking throughout the floor to clean, allocate, receive, pack/unpack materials and parts.
  • Bend, stoop and reach regularly, including kneeling/squatting and reaching above shoulders or below waist.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination: perform repetitive tasks with hands, such as assembling small parts, packing, or sorting, and use of small hand tools requiring fine motor skills.
  • Vision and hearing: visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels, gauges, blueprints, or assembly instructions.
  • Tolerance for light noise, dust, light soldering smoke, and exposure to moving mechanical parts; must wear PPE – steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective gloves, and electrostatic control coat.
Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
