Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in New Jersey is seeking an Electronic Instrument Test technician with strong precision engineering, data acquisition, and test validation experience to join our in-house test facility.

You will build and administer data acquisition systems, set up software (NI DAQ, LabVIEW, DASYLab), interpret sensor outputs from pressure sensors, accelerometers, flow meters, loadcells and thermocouples, and perform soldering at PCB level.

Qualifications

• Requires precision engineering and broad electronic testing experience.
• Experience building/validating data acquisition systems and interpreting results.
• Familiarity with software for data collection (LabVIEW, DASYLab) and hardware lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up data acquisition systems for experiments and data collection.
• Configure and operate data acquisition software (NI DAQ, LabVIEW, DASYLab).
• Perform wiring, sensor integration, and basic soldering on connectors/PCBs.

Job description

Electronic Instrument Test technician with good all round precision engineering electronic data acquisition, test validation and verification experience required to join a comprehensive in house test facility. Component and product, instrumentation, electronic / electrical testing experience ideally in a very practical precision design environment.

Data acquisition system build and administration to experiment, collect data and calculate results.

Set up, configure data acquisitions system software, example NI DAQ, NI LabVIEW, DASYLab.

Pressure sensors

Accelerometers

Flow meters

Loadcells

Thermocouples.

Cable layout and installation route cabling

Soldering skills at connector and PCB level

Digital multi meter (DMM) and oscilloscope knowledge.

Inverters, 3 phase motors and programmable Logic controller knowledge.
