Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Engineering Technician to join our Columbus, IN facility. You will operate, calibrate, install and repair instrumentation and data acquisition systems in a fast-paced test-cell environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining test equipment, developing electronic documentation, and training apprentices. A safety-minded, collaborative team player with hands-on troubleshooting skills is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related associates or bachelor’s degree with experience also acceptable.
• Experience with instrumentation, testing, and data acquisition environments preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO/quality guidelines and safety procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, install, program and repair instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Maintain test cells, rigs, and associated instrumentation and networks.
• Develop and maintain electronic documentation and parts inventories.
