Job summary
Southwest Range Services in New Mexico is seeking an entry-level engineer to manage and support technical projects related to instrumentation development and mission support at White Sands Missile Range. You will prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and assist with test-site prep, structural design, HVAC and electrical systems, and fabrication of components and test articles.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering or physics, strong project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or physics from an accredited institution.
- Strong project management experience.
- Proficiency in technical drawing software with ability to create 3D mechanical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support technical projects related to instrumentation development and mission support at White Sands Missile Range.
- Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for test site preparation, structural design, HVAC and electrical systems, and fabrication of components/test articles.
- Research, design, develop, estimate, schedule, test, troubleshoot, and integrate mechanical and structural components to meet technical requirements of diverse engineering projects.
