  3. Maintain records of QC testing and prepare reports.
  4. Collaborate with vendor personnel on system optimization and implementation.
  5. Identify equipment malfunctions, hardware and software failures.
  6. Maintain instrumentation for quality control, arrange repairs, calibration, and shipments.
  7. Coordinate with biomedical engineers, vendors, and UW-Health personnel on testing and performance improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Fluency in Microsoft Excel, clear communication skills, ability to manage work according to regulatory timelines.
  • Preferred: Two years of hands-on experience with radiology equipment quality control or biomedical engineering experience with radiology equipment; previous training and experience with medical imaging.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Technology, Medical Physics, Physical Science, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Optional: Associate's Degree or Certificate in biomedical engineering, electronics, radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or MRI.

License/Certification:

  • Required: Valid Driver's License (Wisconsin).
  • Preferred: AART - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT or NMTCB credential.
