The Arkema Group in Alabama is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our IEC craft team. You will work with instrument, electrical and controls professionals to execute maintenance tasks, calibrations, and troubleshooting within a chemical manufacturing facility.
You will comply with HSEQ policies, participate in safety discussions, and support external contract resources as needed. A high school diploma and technical certification are required, plus OSHA CPR training and driving
The Instrumentation Technician, reporting to the Shift Leader, will interact with all other trade, production engineering and scheduling groups to accomplish job duties. The Technician will comply with all HSEQ policies, regulations, and requirements as well as the Arkema rules/policies/procedures. The incumbent understands and executes Emergency Response procedures to mitigate unplanned events in the process and reports all near misses, accidents or incidents to the supervisor. The position is located in a Chemical manufacturing facility with all the inherent risks. Activities may include:
