Job summary

TRAX International Corporation seeks a technician to install, repair, and maintain computer-based data collection systems and sensors for test items. You will validate sensor outputs, retrieve data remotely, and assist in data analysis and software-based recording programs.

Collaborate with the team and ensure quality service in a demanding environment. The role requires basic physics knowledge, computer literacy, and soldering experience, with open to cross-training across test areas and

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have one of the following: 1 year related electro-mechanical experience, or an Associate’s degree / Military training in related field. Relevance of experience to be determined by hiring manager.
Soldering experience.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains computer-based data collection, instrumentation, cables, and sensors applied to test items.
Measures, validates sensors outputs using calibration data and digital data acquisition techniques.
Retrieves data from vehicles and remote locations via wireless modems and recording media.
Performs preliminary data analysis and compiles data recording programs through provided software.
Assists with sensor placement based on test procedures and fabricating mounting hardware for equipment and sensor installations.
Demonstrates good customer service attributes and works well with others.
