Job summary

JC Automation Corp. (JCA) is seeking a motivated Instrumentation Technician to join our systems integration and technical support team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training and mentorship from experienced engineers on real projects.

Recent graduates of instrumentation, electronics, or electrical technology programs will learn to test, validate, and troubleshoot control systems, interpret schematics, and support FAT procedures while developing practical skills.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Technology.
Basic understanding of instrumentation concepts (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Support the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems under supervision.
Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and system validation activities.
Participate in I/O checks, loop verification, and signal testing.
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as directed.
Help diagnose system issues and document findings for corrective action.
Learn to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics — training provided.
Assist with control panel testing and verification.
Document configurations, test results, and technical reports accurately.
Support system upgrades, retrofits, and new project implementations.
