Roush in Allen Park, MI is seeking an Instrumentation Technician II to install test equipment in development vehicles, build wiring harnesses, and calibrate sensors. The role requires soldering and wiring experience, along with following drawings and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Soldering, crimping, tube bending, and assembly on vehicles or subsystems.
• Ability to follow procedures and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build and install low voltage automotive and instrumentation wiring harnesses, auxiliary battery and electrical systems.
• Install, adjust and calibrate sensors, shunts, fiber optics, accelerometers, strain gages and data acquisition systems.
• Collaborate with Customers, Fabricators, and Mechanics to identify sensor locations per IRL.
• Perform functional inspection and IQA verification.
• Diagnose faulty wiring and repair, maintain test equipment, and support shop organization.
