Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking an Instrumentation Lead in Katy, TX to guide the specification and procurement of instrumentation in an EPC project, from development to commissioning. The role requires SPI experience, customer interaction, and collaboration with multi-discipline teams to ensure safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery.

The role sits at OPD's headquarters in Katy, TX, Monday–Friday, with no visa sponsorship.

Qualificações

• AS or higher in engineering or technology field.
• Experience in EPC project flow in refinery, chemical, power plant or midstream industries.
• Working knowledge of API, ISA, ASME standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead instrumentation scope from development through turnover.
• Develop and markup P&IDs in SPI.
• Own specification, selection and procurement of instrumentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for quotations and PO issuance.
• Review equipment packages and installation requirements for compliance.
• Collaborate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams.
• Maintain Instrument Indexes, Datasheets and SPI databases.
