Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of pneumatic systems and tubing layout.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components by running and bending tubing as required.
  • Perform testing and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Skills

Run pneumatic tubing
Complete layout of tubing on skids
Run tubing to end devices
Bend tubing ¼ - 1 inch thick
Read General Adjustment and P&ID drawings
Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks
Reading blueprints
Familiar with different types of tubing
Knowledge of end devices
Understanding of system flow
Perform required testing of tubing
Bending stainless steel tubing

Spitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking an I&E Technician to join our team.

What Does a Week in the Life of the I&E Technician Look Like?
  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Here's a list of a few competencies that the I&E Technician at Spitzer should have…

  • Run pneumatic tubing.
  • Complete the layout of tubing on skids.
  • Run tubing to the end devices.
  • Bend tubing ¼ - 1 inch thick.
  • Read General Adjustment and P&ID drawings.
  • Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks as needed.
  • Reading blueprints.
  • Familiar with different types of tubing.
  • Knowledge of end devices.
  • Understanding of system flow.
  • Performs required testing of tubing.
  • Bending stainless steel tubing.
  • Understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary

Of course, we didn't forget salary… Spitzer offers competitive pay depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
