Job summary

Phillips 66 Company in Linden, NJ is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to safely operate and maintain pipeline assets in and around Tremley Point. You will support measurement calibration, pump work, and reliability initiatives while ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance.

The role requires completion of an online assessment after applying. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage records, and supervise contract crews as needed, with opportunities to advance within Phillips 66’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• TWIC card preferred/obtaining TWIC may be necessary.
• Ability to climb, lift, bend and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance checks and calibrate measurement equipment.
• Assist with pump tear-downs, new installations and rotating equipment reliability initiatives.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and hazards.
• Maintain records, drawings, prints and project reports.
• Repair minor electrical issues and troubleshoot motor control circuits.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety trainings.
