OxyChem is seeking an experienced Instrument & Electrical Technician for our Wichita, KS facility. This role focuses on installing, maintaining and diagnosing plant instrumentation, control systems and analyzers to safeguard operations and the environment.

You will troubleshoot 24V DC/120V AC controls, read loop drawings, schematics, and P&I diagrams, and work with vendors for resolution. OxyChem offers safety, growth and competitive pay in a manufacturing setting.

Formación

• High School Education or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• English literacy required.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair instrumentation and control systems.
• Diagnose minor problems and implement corrective action.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for problem resolution.
• Set up and operate shop tools, test equipment, and hand tools for installation or maintenance.
• Troubleshoot 24V DC/120V AC controls and switchgear.
• Research specifications for materials and repair instrumentation equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and man-lifts.
