Job summary

Sideworx Connect USA seeks an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Foreman to oversee field installation of electrical and automation equipment on an oil and gas site in North Dakota. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of oilfield I&E experience, with at least 2 years in supervision, and relevant certifications to supervise I&E crews.

You will lead field crews, interpret electrical drawings, read P&IDs, and ensure compliance with NEC/API standards and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in oilfield I&E work, with at least 2 years in supervision or foreman role.
• Valid journeyman or master electrician license (state-specific) or equivalent certifications.
• OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid/CPR, H2S Awareness, TWIC (if site requires).
• Proficient in NEC, API, and industry standards for hazardous areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field crews during installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Oversee installation of MCCs, PLC panels, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and conduit/wiring systems.
• Maintain daily work logs, provide progress updates, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades onsite.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Foreman to oversee the field installation of electrical and automation equipment on an oil and gas site. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience, a strong understanding of oilfield operations, and the necessary certifications to supervise I&E crews in a safety-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate field crews during installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.

• Oversee installation of MCCs, PLC panels, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and conduit/wiring systems.

• Maintain daily work logs, provide progress updates, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
