Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical and instrumentation systems in a chemical manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and process optimization across plant operations.

The position requires 5+ years of experience with instrumentation and electrical systems and hands-on DCS platform experience (Yokogawa preferred; DeltaV/Honeywell/ABB a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience supporting instrumentation and electrical systems in chemical or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with DCS platforms (Yokogawa preferred; DeltaV, Honeywell, ABB a plus).
• Strong knowledge of process control strategies (discrete, continuous, sequential, loop tuning, adaptive, and feed-forward control).
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process issues.
• Solid understanding of PSM principles, including PHA, MOC, and RAGAGEP standards.
