What you will enjoy doing

1. Work under the supervision of experienced ACS/CSE Engineers to develop and modify schematic wiring diagrams, point-to-point electrical wiring drawings, and specify hardware and instrumentation for projects and new product development.
2. Interpret P&ID drawings and vendor drawings to incorporate control requirements into schematic wiring diagrams, control panel designs, electrical equipment skid wiring, and field wiring drawings.
3. Collaborate with vendors and Linde Project Engineering and Execution Teams.
4. Generate RFQ packages and enter purchase requisitions for control panel fabrication, Allen Bradley control systems, and engineered instrumentation.
5. Under supervision, check out and test control panels and configure analyzers and instrumentation; work independently once proficient.
6. Participate in skid checkouts and potentially plant site checkouts.

Position requires domestic travel up to 25%, with the duration of travel typically specified.

What Makes You Great

• 4-year Electrical Engineering Technology Degree,
• or 2+ years of electrical technical training with 2+ years of work experience,
• or 4+ years of electrical design experience in this field.

You should also have:

• Knowledge of NEC and wiring practices,
• Ability to read and understand P&ID and NSI symbology,
• Intermediate AutoCAD skills or willingness to learn,
• Effective computer skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant software,
• Basic knowledge of equipment sizing and placement on various drawings.

Effective communication, analytical, and hands-on problem-solving skills are essential. Willingness to work on electrical systems and control panels is required. The role can grow into or be filled at an engineering level depending on experience.
