Job summary

TRAX International in Yuma Proving Ground, AZ, seeks an Instrumentation Data Computer Programmer I to support the data collection and analysis for vehicle endurance and performance tests.

You will retrieve data from instrumentation units, process and visualize results with Origin or Excel, and help ensure security and proper storage of test documentation. The role involves programming scripts and working with senior technicians and engineers, with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4 years related experience with math.
• Security+ Certification and Computing Environment Certification required within 6 months if applicable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to learn other applications quickly.
• Ability to read and maintain records and follow procedures.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from instrumentation data acquisition units during vehicle testing.
• Process, analyze, display, and visualize data using Origin or Excel.
• Assist in securing test data and documentation.
• Begin programming scripts and macros.
• Collaborate with senior technicians, supervisors, or engineers as directed.
