This position requires completion of an accredited sterile processing training program prior to hire.The Instrumentation Coordinator I serves as a technical resource within the department and supports instrumentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and surgical readiness. This role demonstrates advanced knowledge of instrumentation and sterilization standards but does not have full operational coordination or shift lead responsibilities.**POSITION SUMMARY**The Instrumentation Coordinator I performs complex instrument decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and high-level disinfection in accordance with manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), AAMI standards, and hospital policy.This role supports case cart readiness, assists with specialty and loaner instrumentation processing, and provides technical guidance to Sterile Technician II staff. The position requires formal sterile processing education and demonstrated competency in advanced instrumentation.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be knowledgeable in the essential duties of the position.
