Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an experienced training professional to lead instrumentation and controls training for the Fossil Central Maintenance team at the Martin Plant site in Indiantown, Florida. You will design and deliver technical instruction, qualification programs, and evaluations to strengthen workforce capability and support safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of power plant systems, troubleshooting practices, and safety requirements.
Ability to develop and deliver technical instruction to employees with varied experience levels.
Experience with designing, delivering, and evaluating training and qualification programs.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, and maintain instrumentation and controls training for technicians.
Create lesson plans, lab exercises, exams, and qualification records.
Conduct pre-hire assessments and practical evaluations.
Coach employees in troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and safe work practices.
Evaluate training effectiveness and close skill gaps with targeted learning plans.
Maintain training labs, simulators, and equipment; align training with plant needs.
