Job summary

ON-Board Services, Incorporated seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support automation and facility control systems for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor facilities. Based in Boise, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams delivering process control, instrumentation, and safety system solutions for complex industrial projects while continuing to grow your technical expertise.

This on-site role requires a ABET-accredited degree and 4+ years of instrumentation and controls

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
4+ years of instrumentation and controls experience.
Knowledge of PLC- and SCADA-based control systems and instrumentation.
Strong communication and ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Design instrumentation, control, and automation systems for industrial facilities.
Prepare P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and related design documentation.
Perform instrument and control valve sizing and data sheets.
Develop control narratives and sequences of operation.
Review vendor submittals and coordinate with project teams.
Support construction, startup, commissioning, and client discussions.
