Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Designer for its Semiconductor Sector to support tool install projects. The role focuses on developing loop sheets, data sheets, ISA symbology, P&ID development, and interlocks while integrating PLC, DCS, SCADA, and network communications.

You will use AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Word to design and document systems, and collaborate with disciplines to ensure complete integration on semiconductor tool installs.

Qualifications

• 4 years I&C technician experience or a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years employed as an I&C Engineer.
• Experience with tool install design in the semiconductor industry is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

This role involves supporting Tool Install Projects and requires experience in tool install design within the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and interpret Loop sheets, Data Sheets, Instrument types/applications, PID algorithms, ISA Symbology, P&ID development, System Interlocks, and pneumatic instrumentation controls.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma with a minimum of 4 years I&C technician experience, or a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years employed as an I&C Engineer required.
• Demonstrated experience with tool install design in the semiconductor industry is required.
• Proficiency in basic PLC Programming, P&ID Development using AutoCAD, Instrument types/applications, ISA Symbology.
• Technical capabilities commensurate with I&C Technician duties.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Collaborative team player able to work across multiple software platforms and disciplines.
• Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
