Job summary

HireOTS is seeking a civil infrastructure engineering professional in Madison, WI to lead instrument & control design for water and wastewater facilities. You will manage PLC/SCADA projects, prepare reports, and develop P&IDs and control schematics for municipal clients.

The ideal candidate holds a PE or EIT certification, has 4–8 years of relevant experience, and has hands-on experience with medium to large municipal water/wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) is required or preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience designing and developing P&ID and control schematics.
• Experience designing instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater plants and pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct instrumentation and control engineering services for municipal W/WW plants and facilities.
• Manage projects and design management for PLC and SCADA networks for medium to large systems.
• Prepare reports, develop plans, and create P&IDs and specifications for municipal clients.
• Develop, read, and interpret P&IDs and control schematics.
