Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes in industrial facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, document design information, and ensure compliance while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for schedule and technical quality, on-site startup support, and collaboration with project teams to deliver world-class solutions.
We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. In this role you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule, and provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities among the project team and discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team you will design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Base salary range: $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Pay is determined by work location and other factors.
