Jacobs seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in the United States to lead control-system projects, ensuring schedule adherence and technical quality. You will design, model, and document control systems while coordinating with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete facilities solutions.
Responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and supporting startup on site.
We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. In this role you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule, and provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities among the project team and discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team you will design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Base salary range: $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Pay is determined by work location and other factors.
