Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Instrumentation Calibration Tech II to perform calibrations in a pharmaceutical industry environment. You will work with temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, mass, pH, conductivity, and dimensional measurements while ensuring adherence to cGMP standards.

Responsibilities include calibration of bioreactors, utilities, and aseptic areas; use of RAM, Calman, or Procar software; and contributing to calibration program improvements through

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in instrumentation, electronics, or related field.
• Experience in calibration in pharmaceutical/biotech environments preferred.
• Knowledge of tolerance calculations and calibration system assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations in pharmaceutical industry environments and bioreactors, utilities, and aseptic areas.
• Apply knowledge of temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, mass, pH, conductivity, and dimensional measurements.
• Conduct calibration system assessments and contribute to calibration program improvements.
• Provide support for cGMP compliance and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience performing calibrations in Pharmaceutical Industry Environment. Biotechnology preferred.
• Strong Knowledge in tolerance calculation
• Experience in Calibration system assessment.
• Strong knowledge in process tolerance evaluation.
• ProcessInstrumentation/ Calibration to manage calibration program.
• Experience performing calibrations to Bioreactors, Utilities, Formulation, Aseptic Areas.
• Experience in Blue Mountain (RAM), Calman, or Procar Software is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipment's, tools, or controls. • He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
