SHINE Technologies is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) / Electrical Engineering Manager in Madison, Wisconsin. The manager will lead a skilled team designing systems that produce isotopes for medical applications and clean energy.
Responsibilities include overseeing control strategies, electrical power distribution design, and collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure project success. A base salary range of $130,000 – $165,000 annually is offered, along with a comprehensive compensation package.
SHINE Technologies is immediately seeking an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) / Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, procurement, and testing of systems used to power, control, and monitor processes. The role is part of a collaborative team that oversees control system design and selects instruments and equipment for the SHINE facility and external customers. SHINE engineers are designing systems that will produce isotopes to help diagnose heart disease, treat cancer, and move toward clean energy.
Areas of responsibility include determining control strategies, design of control system hardware and software, instrument selection, and electrical power distribution for the molybdenum-99 production facility and customer sites. The manager will coordinate with procurement, vendors, construction, and licensing teams.
Base salary range: $130,000 – $165,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package.
Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre‑employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
