Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a support engineer to provide engineering services to SRMC Engineering Teams, including analysis, walk downs, and design development for output documents.
You will generate P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, instrument indices, setpoint lists, and valve specifications, and assist with DCS/PLC design, locations, and installations. Field walk downs are required, with a 40-hour work week and flexible schedules.
Provide support engineering services to assigned SRMC Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development and generation of design outputdocuments including but not limited to: P&IDs; Control Logics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design; Instrument Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.
Engineering serviceswill be provided using SRMC processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRMC.
BS Degreein one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed controlsystems. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
Candidate must have the abilityto walk down systems in the field.
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRMC holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
