Job summary

BD USA – Sparks location seeks a candidate to perform production assembly and complete system analysis, testing and optimization. You will troubleshoot non-functioning test equipment and provide solutions based on pass/fail criteria.

Responsibilities include training associates, following GMP, and interfacing with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning and Purchasing to meet BD standards.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate capability to provide overall support of testing for moderately complex instruments.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and understand the entire assembly process for instruments.
• Conduct functional and release testing on at least one moderately complex instrument.
• Analyze results to determine pass/fail and provide solutions.
• Improve system performance using data from tests and measurements.
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions with accuracy.
