Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a technician to calibrate and analyze water processing controls on field equipment. You will troubleshoot distribution systems, document procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations while traveling up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates process controls used in water processing and water distribution equipment.
• Performs periodic analysis of water processing and water distribution equipment and related process controls to determine need for repairs.
• Detects and troubleshoots production defects of water treatment and water distribution equipment.
• Certifies and documents that calibration procedures have been performed.
• Ensures equipment meets federal, state, and local operating standards.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Repairs pipes, lights, power and instrumentation system.
