A leading engineering company in Texas seeks a candidate for the inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul of electromechanical indicators. Responsibilities include calibrating units and performing mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Formación

• Experience in aviation, electromechanical repair or similar fields is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be organized and detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, test, repair, and overhaul electromechanical indicators.
• Perform calibration of units to prescribed specifications.
• Solder and perform wiring repairs.

Descripción del empleo

This position is responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul of electromechanical indicators such as Horizontal Situation Indicators, Flight Directors, gyros, tachometers, volt/ammeters, and quantity/temperature indicators. Daily tasks will include testing units with panel-mounted or stand-alone test fixtures, soldering and wiring repair, mechanical repair such as geartrains and bearings, calibration of units to prescribed specifications, and cleaning/painting repaired units.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation, electromechanical repair or similar fields is preferred, but not required.
• A strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the aviation industry is a plus
