Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of aseptic technique, proper sterilization procedures, decontamination and assembly procedures per IAHCSMM, AAMI, AORN, AST, OSHA, JCAHO, The Joint Commission, safety standards, hospital and departmental policies.

Aufgaben

• Perform and monitor decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays, sets, equipment, and supplies in sterile processing without direct supervision.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of department equipment.
• Distribute supplies to customers while maintaining excellent customer service and preventing cross-contamination.
