St. Charles Health System in Redmond, Oregon, seeks an Instrument Special Request Coordinator to receive, decontaminate, assemble and sterilize special request instrumentation for procedures. The role requires strong communication skills, one year of sterile processing experience, and certification (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).
You will manage case carts, inventory, and collaborate with OR staff and vendors, while upholding safety, confidentiality and policy compliance in a busy clinical setting.
The Instrument Special Request Coordinator at St. Charles Health System (St. Charles Health System) is responsible for receiving, cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing special request instrumentation. This caregiver will also be responsible for distributing the special request instrumentation. This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.

Required: One year of sterile processing experience.
Preferred: Two to four years of Sterile Processing experience. Experience with understanding IFU, sterilization, and handling of complex surgical instruments. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to understand and interpret complex medical terminology and the surgical schedule.
