Job summary
Flint Hills Resources in Rosemount, MN is seeking an experienced Instrument Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management team and help ensure safe, reliable operation of our refinery facilities. The role emphasizes reliability strategies, RCFA investigations, and mentoring within instrumentation teams.
The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or have 5+ years of instrumentation experience, with strong data analysis skills and knowledge of field instrumentation, 4-20 mA,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or at least five years of instrumentation experience.
- Experience analyzing instrumentation data to identify trends and drive improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical solutions meeting stakeholder needs while upholding instrument standards.
- Lead projects to upgrade/replace equipment nearing obsolescence.
- Develop instrument-related scopes based on sound reliability decisions.
- Lead reliability strategies for instrument population.
- Perform RCFA analyses on instrument problems to drive root-cause solutions.
- Support safety investigations related to instrumentation equipment.
