Airgas is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Abita Springs, LA to maintain, repair and overhaul diesel tractors and related systems. You will ensure equipment meets safety standards and DOT protocols while supporting the supply chain and on-site operations.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with the team to keep machinery running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience.
• Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment.
• Ideally, you bring your own basic hand tools.
• Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License (non CDL).
