Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks an Instrument Fitter for a Midland, NC project. Benefits/Paid Time Off available after 3 months.

Responsibilities include planning layout, fabricating and installing instruments, wiring, and DCS integrations. Requires strong pneumatics and electronics knowledge, plus reading blueprints and P&IDs. Safety training and proper PPE are mandatory throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience.
• Must complete safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout, fabricates, assembles and installs instruments.
• Read ISO's, Blueprints, P&ID's.
• Install and calibrate recorders, alarms, switches and other devices.
• Installation and activation of DCS systems.
• Help coordinate movement of materials to work locations and set up a work site.
• Complete and review records, maintain tools and equipment.
