Job summary

Reworld seeks an Instrument & Controls Technician to manage electrical and control equipment across the plant. You will perform preventive, corrective, emergency, and warranty service, identify and repair malfunctions, and calibrate instrumentation.

Proficiency with DCS, PLCs, VFDs, transmitters, flow meters, level controls, and burner management is required. Responsibilities include testing and calibrating control systems, updating maintenance work orders, and supporting safety standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with electronic/electrical and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent and/or formal technical training.
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributive Control Systems is required.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation and controls and how they interact in the process.
Ability to calibrate pressure, flow, temperature and other sensing instrumentation (Rosemount).
Proficient in use of multimeters and smart calibrators.
Ability to read electrical prints & P&IDs.
Experience troubleshooting OMRON and Allen Bradley PLC hardware/logic.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain instrument and control test, calibration, and repair areas.
Assist in redesign of instrumentation, control and electrical systems.
Monitor burning and other process safety aspects as appropriate.
Perform general work to ensure safe, clean, and efficient facility operation.
Perform other duties as required.
