Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• 1–5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Basic telecommunication protocol knowledge (Modbus, TCP/IP, MQTT).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
• EIT status is a plus for construction side.
• Bilingual: English and Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, and control panel layouts.
• Program and configure PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Oversee installation of sensors and ensure communication with central NOC.
• Calibrate instrumentation for fiber optic networks and telemetry systems.
• Work with construction crews to meet specifications for instrumentation.
• Diagnose fault-to-ground issues and signal interference in the field.

Instrument & Control Engineer (I&C) - Korean Bilingual

Location: Taylor, TX.

We are currently building next generation data centers and looking for an I&C Engineer to design, install, and troubleshoot the control systems and instrumentation required for large-scale construction and telecommunication infrastructure. The role involves ensuring all sensors, telemetry units, and automated systems are integrated seamlessly with network backbones.

What You’ll Do

• System Design: Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, and control panel layouts.
• SCADA & PLC Integration: Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to monitor remote site health.
• Field Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the physical installation of transmitters (pressure, temperature, flow) and ensure they communicate correctly with the central NOC (Network Operations Center).
• Network Calibration: Calibrate instrumentation for fiber optic networks, radio telemetry, and cellular-based remote monitoring systems.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with construction crews to ensure electrical and mechanical conduits meet the specifications for sensitive instrumentation.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose fault-to-ground issues, signal interference, or logic errors in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years’ experience in electrical engineering.
• Basic understanding of telecommunication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, MQTT).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Preferred Certifications: EIT (Engineer-in-Training) status is a major plus for the construction side.
• Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Korean is highly preferred.
