Job summary

Bravura Inc. seeks an experienced Instructor/Writer to support the Regional Signal Training Sites (RSTS) program at Fort Carson's Ivy Division Signal University.

You will develop, update, and deliver technical training on tactical networks, radios, IT certifications, and cybersecurity consistent with Army and DoD requirements. The role requires 7+ years of instructional experience, DoD security clearance, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications within 60 days.

• Those with related degrees may substitute for experience when applicable.
• Required Certifications (minimum of two): Security+, Network+, A+, CCNA, Cloud+, CYSA, CISSP, Linux+, Pentest+, CASP+.
• Preferred Certifications: ITF+, Data+, Fiber Optic Installer, PMP

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Government-owned training materials including lesson plans, presentations, labs, and student guides.
• Review and edit courseware for technical accuracy and clarity.
• Deliver instructor-led training per schedule and site policies.
• Maintain industry certifications per Government guidance.
• Conduct end-of-course evaluations and report results to the Site Manager.
• Coordinate testing with Pearson VUE/Prometric as required.
• Ensure coverage of all operational aspects of taught systems and equipment.
• Support training events and NET activities as needed.

BITS is seeking an experienced Instructor/Writer to support the Regional Signal Training Sites (RSTS) program at Fort Carson's Ivy Division Signal University (IDSU). The Instructor/Writer is responsible for developing, updating, and delivering technical training in areas including Tactical Networks, Tactical Radios, Information Technology certifications, and Cybersecurity in accordance with Army and Department of Defense training requirements. All duties shall be performed in accordance with the RSTS Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable Army training regulations.

The Instructor/Writer shall:

• Develop and update Government-owned training materials including lesson plans, presentations, labs, and student guides.
• Review and edit courseware for technical accuracy, completeness, logical flow, and clarity.
• Analyze student critiques and course evaluations to improve instructional materials and delivery methods.
• Deliver instructor-led training in accordance with RSTS site policies, lesson plans, and approved training schedules.
• Maintain required industry certifications as directed by the Government RSTS Site Manager.
• Participate in Operational Tests, Training Exercises, and New Equipment Training (NET) events when required.
• Conduct end-of-course evaluations and report results to the Government RSTS Site Manager.
• Implement and support Train-the-Trainer programs to enable unit sustainment training.
• Ensure training covers all operational aspects of the systems and equipment being taught.
• Support commercial certification testing and assist with coordination of testing requirements when applicable.
• Serve as a Pearson VUE and/or Prometric testing proctor when required and coordinate testing activities with Army course managers.
• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with the RSTS Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable Army training regulations.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

• Possess current industry certifications or demonstrated experience instructing on tactical and commercial communications systems relevant to the assigned course.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Army-standard desktop applications and configurations including Microsoft Office, Army reporting tools, and Army Gold Master (AGM) configurations.
• Prior military service is preferred and considered beneficial for training delivery.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to access military installations.
• Possess and maintain an active DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience developing and delivering technical training in complex IT, cybersecurity, or communications-related subjects.
• A Bachelors degree in a related field may substitute for experience where applicable.

• Experience mentoring or counseling students to improve learning outcomes.
• Familiarity with Army Regulation 350-1, TRADOC Regulation 350-70, and TRADOC Pamphlets 350-70-X.
• Must obtain any required certifications within 60 days of assignment. (DoD 8570.01M IAT and IAM level 1 certifications).

Physical Requirements

• Work is primarily performed at Fort Carson, CO.
• Travel may be required up to 40%, depending on training support requirements.
• Position requires bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods while instructing or supporting training events.

Work Environment

• Instruction may occur in classroom environments, field environments, and virtual learning platforms.
• Duties may require working both indoors and outdoors depending on the training scenario
