POSITIONSUMMARY

The AFGC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and provides competentcontractorand government faculty qualified toaccomplishthe organization’s goals and mission.

PROFESSIONAL (OPERATIONAL) QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong background in warfare studiesand thetheory of warfare,especially in the areas ofAir, Space,andCyberspace power.
• Completion of Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE) and/or Senior Developmental Education. Resident completionpreferred, butnotrequired.
• JPME Phase I and/or Phase II

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s orTerminal degree inareas such as Military History, Communications, Research, Leadership, International Security,ora relatedfield.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• A ssignmentsshowcasing professional operational experience such as:
• Staff or leadership positions in a Joint or Combined Air Operations Center.
• Wing Weapons/Tactics.
• Flight Commander or higher in intelligence, fighter, bomber, space, cyber, air battle manager, or airborne command andcontrol atthe Squadronlevel or higher in the US Air Force or a sister service.
• Deployment experience in such positionsisa strong plus.
• Prioronline teaching experience (military or civilian)is a strong plus.
