Responsibilities

The Instructor serves as a University Clinical Educator (UCE) and is an integral faculty member of the Patton College of Education. Responsibilities include mentoring, supervising, and instructing Clinical and Professional Interns; collaborating closely with the Coordinator of Professional Internships in Teaching; providing timely updates to the PI Coordinator on day‑to‑day internship operations and intern progress; and familiarizing oneself with placement schools and their communities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in education or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); current or former teaching license or educational administrative experience; and at least five (5) years of teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of technology.
