The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period with renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified/board eligible in general internal medicine or family medicine is required.

Responsibilities

• Nights and weekends at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
• Limited weekend shifts at Good Shepherd Penn Partners Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH).
• Provide didactic and clinical training in ultrasound.
• Work clinically as an attending physician on hospital medicine services.
• Participate in mentorship and structured career development within hospital medicine.

Qualifications

• M.D. or equivalent degree.
