Abdominal Imaging - Instructor

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Open Date: Oct 31, 2025 • Deadline: Oct 31, 2027

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year with potential renewal for up to three (3) years based on performance and funding availability.

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The ideal candidate should be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible, with sub‑specialty training from an ACGME‑approved abdominal imaging fellowship program.

Instructors receive research and educational support to foster academic and/or clinical careers. A specialized research focus may be developed in consultation with the Division Chief.

Clinical services are provided at HUP, PPMC, PAH, PAVMC, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy of the body.
• Experience in image‑guided biopsy is highly desirable.
• Participation in the abdominal imaging off‑hour on‑call program, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
