Job summary

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing invites applications for a Nurse Anesthesia Program Faculty role. The faculty member will educate students across BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP programs, advance nursing and interdisciplinary research, and participate in faculty practice including nurse-run clinics.

The position emphasizes teaching diverse populations, mentoring students, and contributing to leadership development through the Emergent Nurse Leader Program.

• Licensure: Louisiana APRN licensure; current COA NRP certification and active practice.

Job Summary/Basic Functions

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a school of nursing excellence within an academic health sciences center environment. Our nursing faculty have the opportunity to educate future nurses at the BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP level, including state-of-the-art simulation laboratories; conduct nursing & interdisciplinary research; engage in faculty practice, including our nurse-run clinics; pursue entrepreneurial and consultative activities; and serve as a nursing leader and development of leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program.

Position

Nurse Anesthesia Program Faculty.
