LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing seeks a highly motivated nursing faculty member for open-rank positions in Adult Health, Mental Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Community Health, Primary Care (FNP), and Women’s Health. Responsibilities include teaching across BSN, MN/MSN, DNS and DNP programs, conducting interdisciplinary research, and leading innovative simulation labs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN licensure in Louisiana by start date is required.
• Doctorate degree is required for Assistant Professor or above.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing and interdisciplinary research.
• Engage in faculty practice and nurse-run clinics; use simulation labs.

Job Summary/Basic Functions

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a school of nursing excellence within an academic health sciences center environment. Our nursing faculty have the opportunity to educate future nurses at the BSN, MN/MSN, DNS and DNP level, including state‑of‑the‑art simulation laboratories; conduct nursing & interdisciplinary research; engage in faculty practice, including our nurse‑run clinics; pursue entrepreneurial and consultative activities; and serve as a nursing leader and development of leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program. Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:Master's

Other Education if applicable:Master's Degree in Nursing, limited exceptions; Doctorate Degree required for Assistant Professor or above.

Certifications or Licenses Required:Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (by start date).
